Obituary for Larry Joseph Broussard

Larry Joseph Broussard, 66, of Conroe, Texas, passed away on September 19, 2017.
Larry was born in Gueydan, Louisiana on January 19, 1951. He graduated from Gueydan High School in the class of 1969.
Larry married Paula Hair on September 2, 1972, they were married forty-five years.
Larry worked as a Directional Driller for Oilwell Drilling Control and Baker Hughes for twenty seven years. He and his family had the opportunity to work overseas in Argentina and Ecuador. In 1999 Larry attended Spartin Avionics School in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he finished first in his class. Larry enjoyed flying his Piper Warrior. In 1999 he also began working for FedEx and retired from the company in 2015. He was actively involved in the Media group of Woodlands Church where he operated a camera during services.
Larry is survived by his wife Paula, his daughter Genevieve Smith, her husband Marc Smith, son William Cory Broussard, his wife Marjorie Giles Broussard, nine grandchildren; Jaden Broussard, Kelsie Smith, Ashlyn Niquette, Rachel Smith, Ian Smith, Irving Broussard, Sydnee Niquette, Sean Niquette and Ely Broussard. He is also survived by his sisters, Jerry Abshire, Lucille Benoit and Charlotte Mayer.
Larry is preceded in death by his mother Eldie Royer Broussard and brother Wilfred James (Bruce) Broussard.
In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society. The family of Larry Broussard wishes to thank Hospice Plus and MD Anderson.
