Obituary for Merle S. Kosler

Our beautiful mom, Merle S. Kosler, was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia on February 27th, 1937. On Tuesday afternoon, May 29th, at the tender age of 81, Mom earned her heavenly angel wings as we opened the window to let her spirit free. Words alone can not describe our mom..but our hearts are full of her love and heartfelt memories that we shall carry and cherish forever. To us, she was the best mom that we could ever hoped to have had - as well as the best sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She was loving, caring, and extremely genuinely generous...and oh how she loved us unconditionally...Mom would literally give all she had to anyone that was in need whether they asked for help or not. Mom made clothes for children all over the world because she cared so deeply for others. Although she never met them personally, she sewed clothes for the little girls in Guatemala and Haiti. She saw their beauty and loved them and she wanted them to feel loved and beautiful. Our Mom loved gardening and swimming. She was funny, she was funny crazy, she was very open minded and embraced your differences. But watch out, she would put you in check if you needed it..with love of course. Mom could read a book in a day and loved the places the stories would take her. She would challenge us at games and loved Skipbo and Rummikub. A few times we accused her of having cards up her sleeve...and a few times she did.

There are so many things about our Mom that we all loved. And we shall be forever grateful for the loving way she inspired us. Words can never describe the love we have for her or how much we shall miss her.

Mom leaves behind her children, Dr. Valerie Pronio-Stelluto (Jim), Kay Lynne Milberger (Warren), Louis Pronio (Vicki), and Mary Anne Wilson (Jody), as well as her grandchildren, Warren, April, Steven, Scott, Christy, Joseph, Michael, Jayme, Christy, Sarah, Richie, and Bailey, and many cuddly and adorable great grandchildren.

Please join us in Celebrating her life with memories of good times, laughs, and the love we share for her together.
