Obituary for RENEE LYNN GESFORD

Renee Lynn “NayNay” Gesford, daughter of the late Clairborne Cage and survived by her mother Shirley Cryan was born January 11, 1959 in Houston, Texas and passed away peacefully at her home in Willis, Texas on July 9th, 2017. After graduating high school she went to Houston Community College to study Respiratory Therapy. After college she began her career as a Respiratory Therapist at St. Josephs Hospital. In 1987 she moved to Conroe to continue her career at Conroe Regional Hospital where she met her husband Andrew Gesford through a friend and co-worker. Andrew and Renee began their lives together March 8th of 1991. This year they celebrated 26 years of marriage.
She was preceded in life by her father Clairborne Cage, sister Deann Cage, step mother Lorretta Cage and her step Father Popsie Cryan.
She is survived by her mother Shirley Cryan, husband Andrew Gesford, daughter Heather Mitchell and husband Matt, son Ryan Gesford and fiancé Hannah Dentler, Brother Kenneth Cryan, sister Rhonda Cage, grandson Grady Mitchell and granddaughter Mattie Mitchell.
During her free time Renee spent most of her time shopping or searching out items for others. Shopping for others brought her the most joy in life. She delivered her love to others daily. The more you were around her the more you would know that she lived life with a smile and never met a stranger. She was the driving force of this family making sure we spent time as a family and did things together for holidays and special events. She enjoyed her pets, she loved poodles, she bred them for a while many years ago and then kept several over the years. She loved to do crafts as well, some of her favorite craft projects included making wreaths and scrapbooking. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and most of all her grandchildren. She will always be loved and missed and her kindness will live on through us all.
