Obituary for RICHARD WASHINGTON STOWE

Richard W. Stowe "Cotton Stowe" of Conroe, passed away on May 15, 2018. His final days were spent surrounded by family that he loved dearly. Richard W. Stowe "Cotton" was born October 13, 1936 to the parents of Richard Washington Stowe, Sr. and Viola Stowe. He married Ruthie Combest on January 2, 1970. "Cotton" and Ruthie shared 48 years of love.
"Cotton" was retired but he worked years hauling pulpwood, logs and firewood. He loved to go hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his family.
Richard W. Stowe "Cotton" is survived by his wife, Ruthie. His brothers J.C. Stowe, Ray Stowe and a sister at heart, Linda Perry. He was preceded in death by his brothers; Robert Stowe, Darcy B. "Tuffy" Stowe, R.B. Stowe, J.T. Stowe and two sisters Nellie Henley and Bertha Stansbury.
He has four surviving daughters; Stacy Stowe, Debbie Graham and children Rosanna, Jennifer and David, Brenda Muirhead (Richie), and Cheryl Stowe. He has one son Donnie Stowe (Tonya) and one stepson David Neal (Corinna), grandson; Richard Rae Stowe and fiance Amanda Sholars, granddaughters; Linda Rae Stowe, Crystal Riggs (Ron), Heather Muirhead, Missy Hickman (Chris). He had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also raised many other children. He had many nieces and nephews.
