Thomas E. Chapman Jr., 56, of Conroe, Texas passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017.

Tom was born in New Jersey, the son of Tom Chapman Sr. and Greta Chapman. Tom graduated from Roxbury High school, and then attended college for Real Estate Inspection. Over the years, he worked as an electrician, an exterminator, and a pipe fitter. He also co-owned a real estate inspection company and Car-Co Auto Detailing company with his brother Dan.

Tom had many hobbies, but mainly he enjoyed playing guitar. He also liked to fish, play golf, and go boating. He also loved to work on his 1973 Dodge Charger.

Tom was a loving husband, father and grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Chapman, of 29 years, daughters and son-in-laws; Christi and Curtis Clark, Autumn and Paul Haines, and Chelsi and Garrick Worster, and seven grandchildren; Karianne, Brittany, Seth, William, Skylar, Rosie and Evy, brother and sister-in-law; Dan and Pam Chapman, sisters and brother-in-laws; Donna and Glenn Jackson and Cheri and Leroy McClaugherty.

Tom enjoyed helping others and greeted everyone with a large smile and hug. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and always had a new joke to tell. He never met a stranger, and he had a gift of making everyone he met feel welcomed and loved.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 10th, 2017 located at McNutt Funeral Home, 1600 Porter Rd., Conroe, Tx. 77301
