Basic Concrete

Concrete vaults are manufactured of concrete reinforced with steel. The base is the larger portion that holds the casket. The lid is then fitted on the base by means of a tongue and grove joint. Since concrete is porous, a synthetic liner is inserted in the base and lid to stop the entrance of water.

Grave Liner

Grave Liners are manufactured of many materials such as polypropylene or concrete. Although these forms of vaults are not water resistant they do protect the casket from the weight of the grave and allows the ground to settle without future cave ins.

Premium Copper

Copper vaults are among the most costly and are priced dependant upon the copper content.

Copper are manufactured to function as an air seal vault. The tops are the largest part and serve as a dome that covers the casket and latches to the base underneath the casket. The air trapped in the dome prevents the entrance of water as would a glass inverted in a sink full of water.
