Obituary for Allen Earl Hester

Allen Earl Hester has passed away at the age of 68 on Friday May 3rd, 2019, due to congestive heart failure, at his home in Conroe, Tx.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, Marilyn Diane Hester, his 2 sons: Butch Hester and Brian Hester. His 4 granddaughters: Samantha Hester, Daisy (Hester) Spencer, Shelby Hester, and Katie Hester. His 5 sisters: Patsy Klompenhower, Carol Clifton, Brenda Hall, Belinda Smith, Rena Hester and 1 brother Marty Hester and many more cherished family members and friends also.

He was preceded by his mother, father and brother Larry Hester. He was born in Ruleville, Mississippi, the first born to father Alb Alvin Hester and Mother Margarette Ellen Hester.

During his childhood in Mississippi he enjoyed hunting and fishing along the banks of the Mississippi River, whenever he wasn’t helping his mother and father farm or pick cotton.

Later moving to Texas and growing up near Aldine; where he fell for, and later married, “the neighbor girl” Diane Cangemi, the love of his life. At the time he enjoyed riding his Harley’s and racing his Nova.

Then in 1971 he was drafted into the Army where he served 2 years achieving the rank of SP4. After his service he became a machinist working in machine shops in the Houston area, moving to Porter, Tx. in the early 70’s then finally settling in the Conroe area in 1981 and remaining there till his passing.

He will be truly missed.
