Obituary for Ronald Anderson

Ronald David Anderson
(Buzzy to his naval shipmates)
Born January 28, 1967 – September 19, 2018
Ron was a quirky, analytical and super smart know-it-all that loved and was loved by so many. He was one of the best debaters and incredibly generous above all else. He was called many things by many different people including, Ron, Ronnie, Buzzy, Daddy, Pop, Grandpa, Uncle and probably a lot more.
Ron’s story started on January 28, 1967 the youngest of three children Laura and Sonia, by Evelyn and Ronald Anderson. Born in beautiful Hawthorne , California and would spend many years traveling to different states with his family calling new places home and making many new friends along the way.; including, a new blended family with new step-mother Jaclyn Anderson and new step-siblings Amanda, Peter and Sally. Ron met his best friend Terry Barton at the age of 15 years who remained his best friend until the very end for 36 years.
Ron went on to marry a women by the name of Heidi Swanson in 1994 who bore his two children Ronald Louis Anderson II “Trey” and Kade Orion Anderson who were certainly the lights of his life. Unfortunately, the two divorced in 2008 but remained a united front to raise the two wonderful children they brought into this world. Both children went on to follow their father’s footsteps and join the military. Trey joined the Navy as an ET and still remains active duty today. Kade joined the Army as a 25 Bravo IT specialist and was honorably discharged in July 2018.
The boys got married to two wonderful women, Madeline Anderson “Trey’s wife” and Savauna Anderson “Kades wife”, whom Ron loved very much. Trey and Maddy went to have Ron’s first grandchild Orion Jaeger Anderson and a short time after Kade and Savauna had his second grandchild Parker Faye Anderson. Ron was smitten with his grandbabies and low behold Maddy goes on to deliver Ron another grandchild Aurora Belle Anderson. Ron was saddened that he never got to hold his granddaughter Aurora before the Lord called him home but he can watch her grow from afar.
Loved ones that cleared the path for him are his father Ronald Louis Anderson, Milton & Marjorie grandparents on his father’s side , “Betty” Mowe & Thomas Higgins, grandparents on his mother’s side, Grandma Green, grandparent on his step-mothers side. Loved ones that will miss Ron until they meet again are Jaclyn Anderson step-mother, Laura and Sonia his sisters, Amanda, Peter & Sally his step-siblings, Ronald L. Anderson LL and Kade Orion Anderson his sons, Orion Jaeger Anderson, Parker Faye Anderson and Aurora Belle Anderson his grandchildren. There are so many extended family that meant the world to Ron and that he cherished as well including beloved Aunts, nieces, nephews and all of the in-laws that still remained a huge part of his life until the very end.
Ronald L. Anderson II “Trey” said if I had to quote my dad in one paragraph, this is what I would say: “He liked to buck the system. He enjoyed showing people how absurd life was with that cat-like laugh/hiss of his when you know you just did something stupid and he is about to let you know just how stupid it was.” For those of you that knew Ron, I am sure you can picture in your mind, that very unique laugh and it will make you smile.
And so the story goes on until we see our dad, our friend, our confidant again. We love you Ron and we miss you so much. The Lord may have needed you but we feel like we needed you more. Until we meet again….Rest in peace Pop.
