Sharon Kay Moore of Spring, Texas, 76 went home to her savior, Saturday, February 23, 2019 in The Woodlands, Texas. She leaves her husband of 49 years James, sons Chris, and Evan (Josie), daughter Megan, grandchildren Makayla, Kensleigh, Cayden, Sadie, Jordan, and Frankie, and stepsons James Jr. and Joey (Mandy). She was loved her entire life by her sisters Jackolin Vaughn (Billie), Andra Whitley (Russell), and Debra Nowak. She was a beloved aunt and great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Sharon was blessed with many close cousins, caring lifelong friends and enjoyed a large second family at Awake Church. Born in Lipan Texas on August 30th 1942 to Jack and Vivinee (Gafford) Evans, Sharon was a lover of small Texas towns and the annual homecoming at the historic home she was born in.

Sharon was a Houstonette and played snare drum at Sam Houston High School in Houston, Texas where she also enjoyed a long career as a legal secretary.

Sharon was famous for her fried chicken, okra, fudge, and chicken and dumplings, among other delicious southern dishes. She loved western movies, country and gospel music, and any occasion to get together with family. She enjoyed road trips with her husband, and loved to float the river in New Braunfels.

She will be missed by all who knew her.
