There are condolences waiting approval on ROBERT's Tribute wall

Robert William Paton (Bob), age 77, passed away on February 9, 2018 at home in Conroe, TX. He was born in Winfield, Kansas. Bob was a machinist by trade who enjoyed working with wood and building. There was not anything he couldn’t build or fix. During his life, he built or remodeled over 8 homes mostly by himself and sometimes assisted by his riff-raff crew otherwise known as his family. When someone needed help, his friends and neighbors always knew Bob would be there for them. Bob also enjoyed camping and collecting antique signs and tools.
Most people that really knew him understood that the “the most interesting man in the world” title actually should have gone to Bob, and not the Dos Equis man. While he might have deserved the nickname, Bob preferred to drink Wild Turkey, and he always made time to visit with friends and family over a drink. No one was ever a stranger around Bob; he found a way to connect with anyone.
Bob is survived by wife of 43 years Patricia K. Paton, his children Melissa Durochez and husband Patrick Durochez, Irene Paton and partner Billy Wittneben, Trisha Paton and partner Thomas Thompson, Cindy Stohr and partner Rodney McDaniel, eleven grandchildren, and sister Maxine Swart. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred Lloyd Paton and Bertha Irene Paton (Webb) and his sisters M. Margaret Callahan and Phyllis Paton.
A celebration of life will be held on March 4, 2018 at TownHall Texas at 12194 Sleepy Hollow Rd. Conroe, TX 77385 from 2:00pm-5:30pm. Please contact the family for details. Condolences may be sent to the family at .
