There are condolences waiting approval on SANDFORD's Tribute wall

Sandford Christopher Peek, Jr. (Chris), age 98, a vibrant resident of The Conservatory for 12 years and a recent resident of Avanti Senior Living, passed away while surrounded by family at the Regent Care Center on Monday, March 26, 2018, at 1:12 am, after a stroke earlier this month.
Chris retired from GTE Sylvania, Massachusetts in 1983 as Director of Engineering and was a brilliant inventor, entrepreneur, and an intellectual. When Chris retired, he was not one to stand still, so he started his own weather station company in California where he helped many growers conserve water and protect their crops for over 30 years.
Later in life Chris developed a passion for philosophy, science and religion and then gave many lectures at the Lone Star College Academy For Life Long Learning. Most of his booklets can be found at his website: . Chris played in many chess tournaments and enjoyed bringing pizzas, with his scooter, to the “Strange Attractor” table at the Conservatory where he made many friends and enjoyed the later years of his life.
Born March 21, 1920, son of Sandford (Sandy) and Louise Preston Peek, of East Aurora, New York, Chris married the love of his life, Beverly (already in Heaven), on May 3, 1963.
