Obituary for RALPH EDWARD GOLDING

Ralph Edward Golding was born August 28th 1954 to Henry Golding Jr. and Shirley Nowak-Golding in Conroe, Texas. While under Hospice care on May 28, 2018, Ralph lost his battle with brain cancer. He was 63 years old. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Cindy Golding. They were married 25 years and lived in Coldsprings, Texas. He is survived by his son Maurice Golding of Coldsprings, Tx, step-son Jason & wife Alicia Meyers of Crockett, Texas, sisters Karen Tompkins, Kathy McCameron, & Kalyn Kellogg all of Conroe, Texas, brother and sister in-law Rolyn and Liz Moore of Rawlins, Wyoming, sister Donna Jacobs of Spring, Texas, brother in-law and sister in-law Marty and Sally McClure of Evergreen, Texas, numerous nieces nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews, and friends. We would like to give a special thank you to friend and neighbor Harry Starnes for all his help.
Ralph has had various jobs in his lifetime. As a young man he worked on oil field platforms as a roughneck. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years with Texala Construction Co. He could operate any kind of equipment they owned. He drove semi-trucks, and worked for the last 15 years for Houston Independent School District as an electrician.
Ralph has had many hobbies over the years. As a teen he joined the civil air patrol. He earned a black belt in Karate and Tae-Kwon-Do. He owned numerous boats, motorcycles, fast cars, and trucks. He also panned for gold with his friend Wayne in Alaska and all over. Ralph loved nature and being outdoors. He loved gardening, bar-b-queuing, fishing, and hunting. He was an avid outdoorsman. He fished and hunted all of his life, and he could shoot any gun. He loved to bow hunt and frog-gigging. If it was outside, he did it. He loved making animal sounds.
We can see him now, opening moms front door and making some kind of animal sound just to let you know he was home. We will all miss him.
