March 1, 1946 - January 1, 2019

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.

Let us remember him not how we saw him at the end of his life, but how he lived his life.

Douglas Brian Noland passed away in the presence of his loving wife of 29 years, Linda, at age 72.
Douglas was born in Canton, Ohio on March 1, 1946 and was raised in Miami, FL and NYC, NY.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard J Noland and mother, Jean Janik.
He is survived by a wife, Linda; daughters: Sang Noland-Sweeney and Regina Noland; Sister: Nedra White; Stepchildren: Sandra Cannon, Steve Preston, Chris Preston. He also leaves behind grandchildren: Ashley, Amber, Ashlynn, Megan, Ariel, Brandon, Sarah, Zachary and great-granddaughter: Ella.
Doug is a retired Air Force Veteran who proudly served his country for 20 years and 3 months. He retired at the rank of Master Sergeant on July 1, 1985. His primary specialty was Tactical Aircraft Maintenance and worked on notable jets such as the B-66 Destroyer – “Douglas Destroyer” and the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II – “Wart Hog”
During his illustrious career he traveled to many countries such as Germany, Thailand, Spain, Japan, and England where he learned his appreciation of various cultures and their cuisines and passed that love onto his daughters. After retiring he shared his love of travel with his wife on trips by motorcycle, cars, and planes. His passions were his wife and serving the Lord by helping those in need by driving them to their various appointments and being actively involved in The Believers Fellowship Church.
